Accomplish your to-dos

Accomplish your to-dos

Some people prefer to avoid making to-do lists. Making a list helps me remember what needs to be completed. Also, when you cross-to-do items off the list, it enables you to feel accomplished.

Decluttering made easy

Decluttering made easy

When decluttering take a room-by-room approach focusing on sorting, rethinking, and reorganizing everything you own.

Allocate a decluttering time. Allowing some time each day helps to not get overwhelmed.

Make a list of a few areas that need to be decluttered. This way you will not get overwhelmed with so many areas at once.

Get Donation, Recycle or Rubbish Bags Ready. Determine the items that no longer serve you, remove them and place them into a donation, rubbish or recycle. Make sure your donation bag and rubbish bag leave the house.  Move the bags you’ve set aside to recycle to your car or the front porch. This way the bags have a place to go!

Don’t forget to have a box for things that need action like mending, returning, etc.  and a memory box for sentimental value.

Achieve your goals

Achieve your goals

Maintaining a list of your goals serves as a guiding compass, ensuring you stay focused on your attainment of those goals. This organized approach not only clarifies your aspirations but also empowers you to track progress and stay motivated. Whether they’re short-term objectives or long – term ambitions, the act of listing them fosters a sense of accountability, helping you navigate the path to achievement with purpose and determination.

When life gives you lemons

When life gives you lemons

If you run fresh cut lemon slices through your garbage disposal at least once a month it will leave your kitchen drain smelling nice and fresh.

Tips for cleaning your microwave

Tips for cleaning your microwave

First you will need a bowl.

Add two tablespoons of baking soda into the bowl with warm water. Mix the warm water and baking soda until all the baking soda is dissolved.

Place the bowl with the dissolved baking soda into the microwave. Turn the microwave on high and “cook” for two to three minutes.

Let the bowl sit in the microwave for a few minutes or until cool.

Carefully remove the bowl and wipe clean.

Help your pets and your neighbors!

Help your pets and your neighbors!

Purchase pet-friendly deicing products. Not all deicing products are safe for your furry friends’ paws. Some ice melts can contain harsh chemical de-icers. While they help by melting the snow and ice off your sidewalks and driveways, they can be toxic and potentially fatal to our feline friends.
