Talbot and Dorchester County Readers Name Londonderry on the Tred Avon Best Residential Community for Seventh Year Running

Easton, Md.For the seventh year in a row, Londonderry on the Tred Avon has been voted “Best Residential Community” in Talbot and Dorchester Counties through the Coastal Style Best Of Readers’ Poll — a streak that reflects not just recognition from a magazine, but a vote of confidence from the neighbors and community members who see Londonderry up close, year after year.

The Coastal Style Best Of Readers’ Poll invites readers across the region to vote for the local businesses, professionals, and organizations they value most. For Londonderry, a resident-owned cooperative shaped by the people who call it home, the honor means something extra: it comes from friends and neighbors who know this community from the inside out.

“Seven years running is something we don’t take for granted,” said Rachel Smith, Londonderry’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Our residents are woven into this community, they volunteer, they shop local, they show up. When our neighbors vote for us, they’re really voting for the kind of place we’ve all built together.”

That sense of connection has been a throughline for Londonderry throughout its 35th anniversary year, as the community has continued to deepen its partnerships with local organizations across the Eastern Shore.

“This recognition belongs to our residents and to the community that has embraced us for 35 years,” Smith added. “We’re proud to keep earning it.”
