Londonderry on the Tred Avon Honors Lari Caldwell with 2026 Ingerson Award
Easton, Md. – Londonderry on the Tred Avon presented resident Lari Caldwell with the 2026 Ingerson Award, one of the community’s most meaningful honors, at its Annual Stockholder Meeting in August.
The award is named in honor of Tom and Ruth Ingerson, whose contributions to establishing and building Londonderry in its earliest years were instrumental in building the community it is today. Presented annually since 2009, the Ingerson Award recognizes a resident who has made significant contributions to Londonderry and who embodies the community’s shared values.
This year’s recipient stood out not for a single contribution, but for the breadth of her involvement across nearly every corner of Londonderry life. Caldwell has served as President of the Board, taking on the responsibility of helping guide Londonderry and represent her fellow residents, and has served on the Finance Committee, dedicating her time to understanding the financial decisions central to the community’s future.
Her involvement extends well beyond the boardroom. Caldwell has served on the Activity Advisory Group and the Election Committee, participates in the Art Group and the Jammers, and helps oversee Bingo. As a New Resident Ambassador, she welcomes new neighbors and helps ease their transition into the Londonderry community. When the community needed someone to research the future of Londonderry Air, Caldwell stepped forward to do the homework.
Her commitment to service extends into the greater Talbot County community as well, including her involvement with Habitat for Humanity and her leadership as President of the Londonderry Satellite Rotary Club.
“Your service demonstrates exactly what the Ingerson Award was created to recognize,” said John Flohr, Londonderry Board President. “From the boardroom to Bingo, from welcoming a new neighbor to researching an issue affecting Londonderry’s future, you have been willing to contribute your time, your knowledge, your energy, and your leadership.”
Caldwell received a Bromeliad in a pot etched with the Londonderry logo and the inscription “2026 Ingerson Award, Lari Caldwell,” along with a gift card to Theo’s Steakhouse in St. Michaels.
“This is a complete surprise,” said Caldwell. “I am gratified to receive this award, since it is the Ingerson Award. I have always tried to participate in everything that I could and serve this community inside Londonderry and outside of Londonderry. I am so happy to be here. I love this community, and I hope we continue to grow and have a good time here. Thank you again.”
Caldwell’s name now joins Tom and Ruth Ingersons’, and those of the many residents recognized before her for helping shape Londonderry into the community it is today. A plaque honoring this year’s recipient, and all past winners dating back to the first, in 2009, hangs in the Londonderry Clubhouse.
