More than a home, 35 years strong!
More than a home, 35 years strong
For 35 years, Londonderry on the Tred Avon has been a place where neighbors become friends, independence is celebrated, and community truly comes first. Locally owned and operated since the beginning, Londonderry is proud to celebrate 35 years.
Set along the peaceful waters of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Londonderry was created with a forward-thinking vision: a community where retirees could enjoy life on their own terms, remain independent, and have a meaningful voice in the place they call home. From the start, Londonderry was designed to be more than a residence–it’s a cooperative community owned by the people who live here.
Over the years, Londonderry has grown into a vibrant, welcoming place shaped by shared experiences, lasting friendships, and a deep connection to the land and water that surround us. Our campus has evolved, amenities have expanded, and traditions have taken root–all guided by resident ownership and community spirit.
As we celebrate 35 years, we honor the vision that started it all, the residents who have helped shape our story, and the future that continues to inspire us. This milestone is not just about looking back–it’s about celebrating where we are today and all that’s still to come.
Have a stroll with us down memory lane through our community timeline below…
