Londonderry Welcomes Community to the “Londonderry Diner”
Easton, Md. – On October 3rd, Londonderry on the Tred Avon welcomed more than 150 guests to the “Londonderry Diner” where they stepped back into the 1950s for an evening of nostalgic fun.
Guests were treated to diner food favorites – including root beer floats, cheeseburger sliders and onion rings. They were also visited by Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe and enjoyed dancing to hits Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Everly Brothers and other sock-hop tunes. Event attendees were Londonderry residents and their family members, as well as friends and neighbors from the larger Mid-Shore community.
“Our themed party is our most anticipated event of the year,” said Londonderry Sales and Marketing Director Rachel Smith. “We love inviting our friends and neighbors to join us for an evening on our campus to see how much fun we have together.”
Every fall, Londonderry hosts a themed event that is open to the greater community. Past annual events have included an Oktoberfest, Hoedown, Casino Night and Margaritaville.
The theme for the much-anticipated 2025 event will be announced in late Spring.
