Londonderry receives Best Retirement/55+ Community Award.
Easton, Md. – Londonderry on the Tred Avon is pleased to announce that it has been named the Best Retirement/55+ Community in the 2022 Best of the Best Chesapeake Community Choice Awards and was a finalist in the Senior Living Category.
Members of the Londonderry Team accepted the award at the Best of the Best gala on Tuesday, November 30th at the Kent Island Resort. The 2023 Best of the Best Chesapeake is the official community and readers’ choice awards for the Mid-Shore. The program is organized by APG Chesapeake, the parent company of The Star Democrat.

More than 64,000 votes were cast in the 2023 awards. This is the fifth year Londonderry has been the recipient of the Best Retirement/55+ Community award after first advancing through the nomination and voting rounds that took place earlier this year.
