Londonderry on the Tred Avon Named Best 55+ Community in the 2025 APG Best of the Best Chesapeake Community Choice Awards
Easton, Md. – Londonderry on the Tred Avon is proud to announce that it has been named Best 55+ Community in the 2025 Best of the Best Chesapeake Community Choice Awards, continuing its long-standing recognition as the Mid-Shore’s premier senior living community. This marks the seventh time Londonderry has received the honor and its third consecutive win, following awards in 2023, 2024, and now 2025.
The award was presented at the Best of the Best Chesapeake Awards Gala on November 20, 2025, held at the Kent Island Resort in Stevensville, Maryland. The annual awards program is organized by APG Chesapeake, the parent company of The Star Democrat, and celebrates outstanding local businesses and organizations as selected by community members through nomination and voting.
“We are incredibly honored to receive this recognition once again,” said Londonderry CEO Christine Harrington. “Being named Best 55+ Community year after year speaks to the strength of our community—from our dedicated team and supportive board of directors to the residents who make Londonderry such a vibrant and welcoming place to call home.”
The Best of the Best Chesapeake awards are determined through community participation, with tens of thousands of votes cast each year across a wide range of categories. Londonderry’s continued success reflects its commitment to quality living, meaningful connections, and an exceptional resident experience.
