Darian L. Sump, CPA was born and raised on a farm family in Cordova, Maryland. He graduated from Salisbury University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science Degree is Accounting and passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Exam in 1997. Darian was employed by a local accounting firm in Easton until 2008. At that time he started his own accounting firm, Sump & Associates. The firm provides tax and accounting services to individual, small businesses and non-profits. Darian was active in 4-H as a child and continues the trend of community service that that organization instilled in him. Darian has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Talbot County and has previously served on the board of directors for that organization. He is a member of the Tri-County Ruritan, a lifelong member St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cordova and serves on the board of Londonderry on the Tred Avon. In 2001, Darian was a member of the Rotary District 7630 Group Exchange Study Team to Stuttgart, Germany. Darian is a graduate of Shore Leadership and LEAD Maryland. He also holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Darian resides in Cordova with his wife, Holly and sons, Bennett and Rhett.
