Brian Cotter is currently the Senior Director of Pharmacy Services for the University of Maryland Medical System, where he coordinates the pharmacy operations for all seven system hospitals. He also works as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

His career spans four decades, and he has served as a healthcare leader and educator mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. He is active in his professional community and holds memberships in a variety of industry organizations and associations.

Cotter lives in Talbot County, close to his four grandsons, whom he loves spending time with, Finn, Logan, Liam, and Eamonn. He is a parishioner at Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Easton and acts as the assistant varsity basketball coach at Saints Peter and Paul High School. In his free time, Cotter enjoys staying active by riding his bike or practicing yoga, traveling, and keeping up-to-date with the Washington Nationals.
