Jean Rhian was recently elected to the Londonderry Board of Directors. Jean along with her husband Jerry have been Londonderry residents since 2019. Jean had previously served on the Finance Committee. Growing up in Frederick and Harford counties in Maryland, Jean graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1978 with a B.A. and earned an M.B.A. from Wayne State University in 1980. Jean then worked at the Kmart Corporation headquarters as a systems analyst, designing business processes and mainframe systems. In 1985, she began working for Ford Motor Company in Finance and Governmental Affairs Systems, retiring in 2002.

Jean and her husband, Jerry, moved to Easton to be near family and enjoy the climate. Their four children and four grandchildren live in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington State. Jean is an avid reader, quilter, and walker.

Jean’s enjoys volunteer work including holding various leadership positions with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, working as a mediator at MidShore Community Mediation, being an active member in Bayside Quilters, and volunteering with Talbot Interfaith Shelter and Chesapeake Multicultural Resource Center.
